What we collect
When you use ShowDown we store: your email address (to sign you in), your username, the photos and captions you submit to a category, the votes you cast, and the category suggestions and upvotes you make.
How we use it
Only to run the app: to sign you in, show your club's entries, tally votes, build leaderboards, and let admins manage categories. We do not sell your data, and there are no ads.
Who can see it
Your data is scoped to the clubs you belong to. Members of a club can see that club's entries, usernames, vote counts, and suggestions. Members of other clubs cannot see any of it. Individual votes are private: no one, including admins, can see who you voted for. Only the totals are shown.
Where it is stored
ShowDown runs on Supabase (database and photo storage) and Vercel (hosting). Your data lives in those services on our behalf.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. That permanently removes your profile, entries and photos, votes, and suggestions. Clubs and categories you created remain for their other members.
